honda xr125 oil change

Can anyone help me with oil change,been on the web and i'm not sure which oil to use.
I have looked on wemoto website and there are a couple to choose,10w30 and 5w40 one synthetic and one semi.Which one should i get?

This sort of question usually receives more replies if posted in the workshop section.
Go to the workshop section and see if you can download the workshop manual for your bike.

It will have all the information you need in there and will be a godsend for retrieving information pertinent to your bike.

If you can't find the info there or are unsure about anything, then start a thread in that section and I am sure someone will be happy to assist you.

10W40 semi synth will be fine. The X125 doesn't have an oil filter cartridge as such, just a strainer mesh situated just behind the sump bolt. Ensure that's clean when you remove the old oil, and don't forget to replace it and torque it up to the right settings. Or just torque it up to finger tight and "nip it up". Remember to replace the crush washer too with a new one.
