Hi

No the R plate system only applies in NI. Mind you when I lived there nobody took much notice of them. I know one guy who went through a police road block (around Bangor) in a car, then tried to get away. He landed up getting a 3 month extension to his R plates.

Yeah, that was my first time, so I'm well chuffed!!!

My bike looks so much better without the L plates (never used a front one anyway, since it got blown off at 90mph one day Laughing ).
