Good Evening!

I'm looking for some under-trouser shorts with some meaty hip protection.

My leather trousers have ce approved hard plastic armour in the shins, and knees, and some soft foam padding around the hips, but i dont think the hip padding would do anything in the event of an off.

Has anyone got any suggestions for some shorts with preferrably hard ce approved hip amour?

I've been looking around, i like the look of these; https://www.tenn-outdoors.co.uk/mxdhbmx-padded-hip-protector-body-armour-shorts-black-sml

but they are made for bmx, which puts doubt in my mind, i'm not sure if it should or not.

These also seem to be highly rated, https://www.motorcycle-superstore.com/2/6/11/18327/ITEM/Fox-Racing-Titan-Race-Short.aspx

I dont really want to spend more than £50, but i could be expecting too much for my budget.

Many thanks, Joe
