use of unmarked police motorcycles is being linked to a sharp fall in the number of riders killed

Can't say why the numbers killed has dropped but it's outrageous to claim this is the main reason.
Probably a much more likely reason is that higher fuel costs has led to less bike miles and less other traffic to collide with?

The numbers we are talking about (deaths per year since 2008) are 12, 16, 20 and now 10.

Not even close to statistically significant, not that this matters to the retards in charge of course.

Exactly. If the death toll next year is, say, 13 do you think they would come out with a headline such as 'Unmarked police bikes fail to curb deaths' and denounce the scheme?

Methinks not. Cnuts. Thumbs Down

One of these coppers that rides the unmarked bikes came to see a mate of mine, he had been first on the scene at a double fatality near Ribblehead last year. Copper came for a statement and was bragging to my mate about the unmarked 'Blade he rode.
Along the lines of "getting behind riders and seeing if he could push them" then "by the time they realise, they've already lost their license".
Nob.

Fuel revenues are down about 10%, bike and car KSIs are down 8% and 7% respectively and all traffic coppers are impotent slapheads who think that knowing how to drive safely in theory gives them a license to actually drive dangerously in practice.

End of?
