Signs over motorways give advice when not advising of traffic related stuff.
Recently signs say, IS YOUR CAR READY FOR WINTER

I thought it might be a good idea for next March for the some of the signs to say, IS YOUR BIKE READY FOR SUMMER

I like the 'THINK BIKE' ones too. If stuck in a motorway queue it's even better advice.

"is your bike ready for summer" would do my head in if I read it, merely because it's implying that nobody uses bikes in bad weather and that a bike would need some sort of special preparation it wouldn't need for any other seasons.

"is your VEHICLE ready for winter" would be better than using "car".
