Another idea

Mentioned this before I think, but anyway:
How about an option to display a list of all recent posts from all forums? Preferably this would have a section so that you can 'filter' out posts from specific sections, so if say you're not technically minded you can ignore those as well as say E&M/F&FW, but still have general, Outings and Excursions and Funny etc displayed.

Now that we've got more different sections it seems to be more 'hassle' to go through and look at different sections. I definitely seem to have replied to less technical posts since it wa introduced, just because I haven't found the need to look at that section when I haven't got time.
The idea would be to have an icon next to each post to symbolise it's type; ie a spanner for technical, maybe a map for outings etc.

Yes, like that, but more selective, like. So you can filter out all the stuff you don't want.

Hi

One nice fun feature (although lethal for anyone who has not been on for a few days) would be a button to open all the unread posts in a forum in the background.
