With me wanting a job I've been applying for a while now one query that comes up is how to store work clothes.. Basically top box is out not possible at the moment.

Do you store clothes at work or do you keep them with you say in a backpack ?

Not much help, but I just wear mine under my gear...
Depends on what you have to wear for work I suppose.

Depends, really does.
I work in heavy engineering & gets filthy just walking through the door.
Lockers are provided, some change clothes at work, some don't.
I don't & just use cheap bike gear that I don't mind getting dirty on the inside.
Ask at the interview.
I'm assumeing your talking about clean biking gear to store.
Ask at the interview.
Most places have a rest room or changing area.
At worst take a bin bag & just use a quite corner if a factory.
Good luck with the job search, been there & now worn the t shirt out.
What sort of work are you looking for if you don't mind me asking.

Wear them under my gear. If it's hot outside I just wear a t-shirt and put my office shirt in my backpack.

Might be worth storing officey shoes at work, if they object to you clumping around in bike boots/socks.

Under gear, tail pack, panniers or backpack. Depends what I need for the day. All soft luggage on a baby 125 sport (haha) style bike.

I wear it under my gear. Failing that leave shirts and an Iron at work.

I work in an office.

I take my trousers, shoes, belt, change of underwear (incase it rains one of the days and I get soaked) in on a Monday.

I wear my shirt under the textiles and even if I do get soaked, the shirt dries within 30 minutes.

On a Friday I bring it all home in my backpack along with my coffee mug and reset for the Monday.

It means I can ride in and out for 3 days without the backpack. I take my packed lunch in under the pillion seat too.

I also wear a suit and tie. I keep one pair of shoes in the office, the other pair at home. I transport suits in a tank bag so they don't get creased and change in the office - I can fold my suits flat and just wear my shirt under my waterproof jacket. It keeps my shirt dry in even the heaviest rain.

I put my gym kit in my backpack.

Jackets & shoes stay at work, except for a couple that stay at home incase I go to a different office. If i'm at my normal place, gear under the clothes, lid stays in the top box everything else goes in the cloakroom.

If i'm in a different office, suit jacket in topbox, rest under clothes, when I get there boots & trousers in one pannier, jacket in tother, lid in topbox, suit on, done.

I wear my work stuff underneath my leathers when I do occasionally ride to work. Luckily enough, I have a locker at work to keep my helmet, gloves and jacket in. Smile

I have chef whites and black trousers.
New 'rules' at work say I must take my uniform home after each shift - regardless if its clean or not - Or leave them at work to be washed. Near on impossible to do.
Back pack all the way.

+1

But then I was always a notoriously scruffy git before I started biking anyway, and my job isn't client-facing.

I used to leave shoes/clothes at work under my desk, and get in a bit early and change in the toilets. Bike kit lived under my desk during the working hours. Thumbs Up

I leave one of my suits and shoes at work and bring in a clean shirt in my topbox/backpack as I need to.

Suit and shoes at work, shirt and tie on under my textiles and get changed when I get there. I'm lucky my firm got me a locker to stow my gear and helmet so 5min to get changed and good to go. Wink

Since I tend to get hot and sweaty before even getting on the bike, I ride in just in usual biking gear (t-shirt and layers if cold) and pack my work clothes, shoes, towel and wash kit in a rucksack (which then goes in a top-box, but could go on my back). If folded well they come out perfectly presentable - luckily we have showers at work, so I get showered, shaved etc when I get to work. Never leave anything at work as I can go to a different site some days. I work in a 'business casual' office environment (trousers, shirt, shoes).

I work in an office, although they're pretty relaxed with the dress code, no-where near as formal as some other places I've worked in the past...
so I just wear my normal clothes underneath my textiles, and a pair of armoured paddock boots that are almost completely black, therefore not too noticeable at work Thumbs Up
