I am possibly looking to get a bike delivered rather than travel down from North Scotland to Englandshire.

However even buying small items a lot of companied do not deliver as I aparently am not on the mainland I live on another island.

So anyone have any experience in shipping bikes and would Inverness / Glasgow be classed as mainland as have relertives there who could take delivery?

I have been quoted £99 delivery

Yes I believe Inverness is covered as mainland Britian. Its when you get to the Hebridean islands that the costs seem to climb.

£99 sounds like a good price from England. Id wager youd be lucky to get to Carlisle and back for that price Smile
