running problems in the wet weather

i have a suzuki bandit 600 as some of u guys might know ! what the problem is when it rains the right and left outside cyclinders stop fireing and im left with a bike running on 2 that goes no where fast and is really annoying !!!! ive try'd to sort the seals on the plug cap's but there still letting in the water !!! i think the problem is the seal that sit's on top of the cam cover they have expanded and are too big for the hole ! can i buy the plug caps with the seals ? has any one eles come across this problem ?

Hi

Sounds more likely to be a problem with the coil. Those 2 cylinders share the same coil. Chances are the connections to that coil are getting wet.

My MT50 used to conk out in heavy rain, but I got a waterproof plug cap and put a bit of plastic below the coil and that seemed to do the trick.
