I think that the NSR125RK is an older version of the newer NSR125R but to be honest I'm not at all sure! Embarassed

EDIT: Then again, if its a newer version they would add letters rather than take letters away right? Like I said, I've got no idea really Shocked

Yeh, I think an NSR125R and an NSR125F are basically the same just one is unfaired, or so its says in my Owners Manual! Laughing

The k designates the year/sub, so you can have nsr125rk, nsr125rl, nsr125rm etc I believe.
As McJam mentioned, if it's unfaired then it will actualy be a 'nsr125fk' or similar, presuming it was originaly unfaired.

The early ones were never restricted AFAIK.

I'd say £800 max. Although it would have to be a very good example of one for that much.

Remember all:
the square headlight model isn't a n NSR125 its an NS125R! there is a difference.

And NS125RK is a 1990 square headlight model
and NSR 125RK is much newer!

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

Yes.

It was imported in 2000, and the DVLA pretty much guess at what year it was made. Scottys bike is actually a few hundred bikes older than mine, yet is registered as a '94 L plate (this model wasn't even made in '94, BTW).

My NSR125 RK was also insured as a R because the insurance didn't list the RK

whatever it is it runs nice at low revs
slower than the 88 derestricted ns125f i had,but smoother, and im happy with that Smile
i was sick of thrashing my old ns everywhere just to make it smooth.
