Why do people post is completely the wrong section?
Often the forum is clearly set out and easy to find the right section.
Disability is no excuse.
Can someone please explain why people post in the wrong section.
Not just newbies, a few older members do as well.

I think you need to ride a few more miles if you don't know what I'm talking about.
On my first ride out people were out side their houses even in the countryside miles from anywhere, lone hoses & small villages as well as towns.
Nearly every one was giving a wave, we went through a housing estate & nearly every house had people outside, my first hand slapping experience was two small kids stood on the kerb hands held out & most of the bikers slapped.
On the last rideout I did people were out waving & nearly all the kids were hand slapping & by then I was was ready for it.
Slowing down, slapping the hands & looking into the kids faces only inches away is an emotional roller coaster ride, the biggest wow was the disabled kid in a wheel chair, I'd already done a few in pushchairs but that one, oh wow.
Saying that even the adult hand slaps is melt the soul time also.
Just like the kids when your faces are inches apart, some of the expressions, kids & adults are fantastic.
You'd be a hard hearted miserable git not to be touched.
Biggest grin I got was a lady who when you stopped yanked the visor up, yanked the chin guard down & stuffed a handful of jelly babies in your mouth.
Many have experience the hand slaps so maybe know the answer.

Well, Karma balance restored by rating your belated explanation as "Interesting".

That's a Local Slap for Local People, I think. I've never seen it done anywhere north of, uh, wherever you are. If any kid up here above the age of about 6 held their hand out, I'd assume they were proffering a Stanley knife or a dog turd.

OK bikevidder. I'm not far from compartmentalising you in the same category as Snow Rider /The Warped One... Bear that in mind before you hit the submit button in future.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.
