So there I was cruising along, minding my own buisness when all of a sudden...OH SHIT, THAT LIGHT WAS RED!!.

FLASH!

I think I got hit by a red light camera. I think the camera is rear facing. The camera is on a cross road, I went under it then turned right onto a side road.

Am I now screwed?

Yes you're screwed.

Just hope it comes outside of the 14 days period. Get yourself over to pepipoo and see if there's any common ways to get off.

They're just speed monitoring camera's aren't they? There is one on Southend Seafront which I go past on my everyday commute and I've never seen it flash... I don't think you will get a ticket, they are just there to monitor speed I think, not catch speeders.

No they're there to catch people that jump red lights.

You normally get a second or two's grace on them, however some now include a speed camera and red light camera in one. Eeek.

The yellow or grey ones (usually half the size of a Gatso speed camera) are definitely red light cameras. It's only the small ones (blue?) that monitor traffic flow.
