Nice carpet.

Still think they're ugly. The new Speed Triple's headlights especially need to go in the skip.

I really like the Great Escape tribute, although I think I would prefer the rack on the tank and a double seat.

But I don't know where they are going with the other two, it's like they're trying too hard.

The headlight/fairing thing on the Speed is indescribably bad and what's the red subframe all about?

As for that other thing, that's just amateur night, I've seen better than that knocked up in a shed; too many baubles and differing styles, the whole thing looks like it's fighting with itself and everything is losing.

Must be how they denote their R models now.

Rather unimaginitive as usual.

Cheap Ohlins? Check

Brembo Monoblocs? Check

Pirelli Supercorsas? Check

"Right that's the R model done lads. To the pub!".

Flat metallic green paint? What's that about? Doesn't look particularly faithful to any 'great escape' bike I've ever seen, don't get it.
I think the Bonneville pastiche is distasteful and a bit of an insult to the originals personally, couldn't they have applied the name to something more in-keeping with what the Bonnie was in its era?

Oh well, I love the Tiger, and that Bonny. Can't say the Speed floats my boat as much though.

I'm going to get that Tiger I think. I was looking at the 1050 but shaft drive, 1200cc and SS swing arm, oh yum Mr. Green

Having seen a Tiger in the carpark at work all I can say is its a beast, a rather handsome beast. The rest of the bikes are a little not my cuppa.

Who do you work for Andy? I was there too, in fact was half expecting to see myself on one of the pics.

Cheap Ohlins? NIX30 and TTX36 ain't cheap. Add in the forged PVM wheels too and it is quite a performance increase, for those that are after it.

I'm not too keen on the Steve Mcqueen though, it's just a T100 crossed with a Scrambler. With a green seat. Sick

The Tiger Explorer does look very nice though, like a Tiger 800 on steroids. I'm looking forward to riding one, although I think it might be a little big for me.

Fair cop, perhaps they aren't so cheap. However what's with the lack of imagination as I said in another thread.

It's just so boring. IMO I'd rather see them chuck some K-Tech forks and shocks at it, AP Racing calipers?

Rather than the same old Ohlins, Brembo yawn, yawn, yawn.

I'm probably in the minority here.

Also, why no race cans?

It's like, I can see that there's a massive quantity of prime boob-flesh there, but somehow I just don't have a hard on for it.

OK, I quite like the green thing, but I'm not going to go out and buy it new, and neither is anyone under the age of 40. Best of British luck to them though.

The Speeds' headlamps always remind me of the glasses the old ladies wear in Gary Larsons "The Far Side" cartoons.

there not gold and shiny so people with more money then sense wont be attracted to buy the bike ,

again besides from the fact the brembo's are a good caliper, there names sales even more then there performance.

i agree it is very boring and same old same old, but when £££ runs the thought process rather then just making the best bike possible what do you expect?.

its kinda ironic when you think about it, as one of triumphs most popular bikes, is probably the one they had to put the least amount of effort in to making and their least flashy (street triple)

Was down Laguna today and they had the speed/street with the newer lights, not my cuppa either.
