Any ideas where I could go? I'd like to get some miles done on the bike and have to use up some annual leave before the end of the year so I'd like to go for a little road trip.
Here was a rough plan, is this realistic in 5 days? Or are there better/more interesting places to go or things to do?

Also, I have little to no experience of bike maintenance, but pick these things up pretty quick. Is it a bit foolish to try something like this without much experience or knowledge?
I don't want to spend much really, so I thought that would rule out mainland Europe?
Cheers in advance,

You could do that trip ina day so 5 will be fine.
Likely to have freezing temps and possibly snow by then.
I'd go over the water if it was me ____________________ Nobby the Bastard: How yo tell the difference between the actual japanese and her just screaming because she's had live fish stuck up her arse? tunnel would be preferred, ferries this time of year can be a bit choice.
Ride off the M20, an hour later ride into france. no waiting at dover in the wind and rain, no dodgy strapping over your seat and queuing to get off and no feeling like ur going to barf because of house high waves throwing the boat around.
Stay off the motorways if you are worried about reliability. Having cover or not will cost you 105 euros which you may or may not be able to claim of your breakdown cover provider at a later date.
Get breakdown cover. AA or the others will do it but not that cheap.
ADAC will give you europe wide cover for 77 euros.
Your insurance policy may well have euro breakdown cover included, especially if with carol naish. ____________________ Nobby the Bastard: How yo tell the difference between the actual japanese and her just screaming because she's had live fish stuck up her arse?
