Just compiling my christmas list and getting a pair of Sennheiser CX300's as many people recommend.

I want them in white and a few places only seem to do them.

This website seems good enough and obviously I would go to Play.com or Amazon but both have independant sellers so I'm not convinced.

Anyway, what do you reckon?

Link

Or if you have bought a pair, where did you get them from?

No, they're not fake. Well designed website, loads of informational pages, contact address and phone numbers and it's a registered active company.

They would be in serious trouble if they were selling fake goods from a legitimate retail business.

Go for it Thumbs Up

I have the model down from the 300's the 200's and their quality pieces of kit. Fantastic bass response and crystal clear quality.

I paid £30 for the 200's so they look like a bargain there.

However if either the 200's or 300's are being sold for less than £20 then I'd be highly suspicious.

I've got some 300II, the quality is excellent, though they are very bassy!

One of the reasons I want them. Had a pair of sennheisers before and they were great. I listen to anything from dance to rock/metal and what I always look for is decent bass.

Where did you get yours from and how much?

But don't mind half your face missing when you come off?...

I've used the CX300's inside a helmet, comfortable enough and they work as ear plugs too if you dont have music on meaning even if you have a noisy helmet it should make it more bearable at speed..

Cant go wrong for the price with cx300s. I use them on my cycle to work and are faultless. Not in the same league as my regular headphones (shure SE530) but they're a tenth of the price!

I use the iPod headphones most of the time, I am out to buy a decent set of in-ear headphones soon but I very rarely use them as I have an in-helmet intercom system that connects to my iPhone and when I am in the house I use my normal headphones minus the mixamp of course:

https://metalarcade.net/wp-content/uploads/2011/08/White-A-40s.jpg.

Astro A40s, fantastic things. Thumbs Up.

I think I might buy a pair of Sennheisers in the OP for exercise and being out of the house though, the above are too big to wear around haha.

I use this: https://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/414vODLSlOL._SL500_AA300_.jpg

Means I can still hear whats going on, and that's plenty loud enough for a bit of background music.

Got them and I don't think they are fake. Just the sound quality is a little poor. Not very clear. But when you adjust the equaliser to have some more treble they are fine.

Good decent headphones and as they were a present, I can't complain!
