As in 'a capacitor'?

Good at what, exactly?

Good at being a battery - no.

Good at keeping your bike running without having a battery bouncing about in your dirt or race bike - sure.

If this is for your, ahem, 'custom' seems silly - though working on the basis you want to make the bike as impractical as possible, it should offer you a little more pub-bragging rights.

I would strongly recommend not removing your ability to electric start.

Kick starting is all fine and good until you decide to tweak the fuelling or it goes off or a jet gets clogged or you just leave it for a few months over winter and the bugger won't kick into life.

You will be very glad to have an electric foot then.

As you've also been talking about 'adding value' to the bike, the market for people who will take one with only a kick start is pretty limited.

I have used a capacitor, works until you need to fiddle with your bike in the paddock and all the electric escapes up your arm very quickly.

A common or garden Honda reg/rec should eliminate your battery without the slightest bit of perserverance. What is your goal?
