I need a new backpack fro gym/swimming however just bought a bandit so thought abotu a new tank bag that would take pair of trainers , swimming towel etc. instead

stick with a backpack, just find one thats on sale in the local sports shops, jjb or whatever.
Tankbags are a bit gay unless your going on a massive adventure, even then its debatable Laughing

Well, for cheapness, wait for Lidl's one to do the rounds again. Perfectly serviceable, magnetic, less than a score last time I checked.

I've got this one, seems to have gone up a few £'s since I bought it but it does the job and stays firmly planted to the tank at entirely legal motorway speeds. Wink

If it's for casual use rather than round the world touring, then any cheap magnetic bag from eBay should do you. The Lidl B-Square branded ones are indeed fine, I've had one in daily use for a couple of years.

This would be big enough for most of my stuff etc.
