bit of a conundrum really,
arguably the husky is a better made bike,
and with a slightly larger Keihin 36mm PWK carb, and a little bit of head work, they are prett beasty bikes, (hauled my 105kg through some dirty mud and up some big hills, with no bother)
but the dtr is a tried tested and true all rounder, with easy parts availability for reasonable prices,
ad thats where its better, husky parts are expensive

i couldn't call it,
on one hand the husky is an awesome little bike,
but on the other the dtr isn't far off being as good,

it'll have to come down to your own personal taste

As above, the Husky is a little better in most ways, based on the same engine.
But not sure I'd bother to swap - if you really want a better/faster bike, then there's lots out there that aren't just a teeny bit faster.
(And if you haven't passed your test, do this so you can 'access' them Smile.)

Pics are required Laughing

As said, the dt is a more street bike, husky is a pissabout bike. All down to personal preference and probably your mechanical noggin.

As the others have said, I couldn't call it!

Not a massive amount in it seeing that the Husky uses a mildy tweaked DT engine. Has a little bit better suspension, but certainly not top of the line competition enduro/stuff from what I remember.
