^ This. I bought some thermal long johns and they made a massive difference.

Sometimes the most un-cool gear is the best. Those over trousers will keep you dry, dry is the first thing in keeping warm.

Man up. It's not got below zero yet, and it's not as though you suffer much from a wind chill factor.

Can't you go in to a toilet cubicle, take them off, put them in your bag and then be happy?

I think the trouble you are having is not having your mummy at school to help you get dressed....

Remember.. a foot into each leg and then pull up.....

What you want doesn't exist. There is no such thing as warm, protective, waterproof, non-chav leg wear for under £20.

Looks like you will have to work a bit harder on the paper round eh ?

Seriously, what will you do when it actually gets cold?

and i can but its a bitt of a hassle to take them off and what not i need something that is over the top of my legs

Might want to retract that statement...

to support the previous sentiments... long johns/thermal undertrousers are the best way forward for warmth without bulkyness. with them being near skin tight theyre not at all noticeable beneath your jeans or whatever the hell you wear on your ped. plus you get the smug satisfaction of being warmer than your class mates when you're outside..

It's all moot, they'll probably have to shut the school anyway the moment the precious diddums have to encounter sub room temperature weather.

Roflcopters.
Serious answer here: grow a pair. It's not cold in the South East at the moment.
Buy some longjohns, or get a pair of overtrousers.

*awaits the tearful posts of jimmywiz circa January*

use cooking oil its a very old trick we used to do when we was in the army . its little known and odorless . just cup your hand and pour out some vegetable cooking oil and apply it to the enterity of both legs . i garuntee you will not feel the cold one bit . this next remedy most will find strange and very strange however one things for sure . not everyone has had S.A.S training and knows how simple house hold items can become life saving in minus 40 degrees tempretures let alone a chilly wind on your motorcycle . apply toothpaste to your testicles . yes thats rite toothpaste .
the chemical reaction that takes place is so advanced it boggles scientists and biologists alike to this day . imagine a human having a computer brain and being able to tap into that and change the defualt setting of your bodys tempreture clock to a higher or lower rate
well basically this is what it does.
try it and be amazed . im sure many will be pesimistic to this method . but please before you are quik to judge try it .dont come
being synical on here to me without having tried it yourself .
this method saved my life on training in alaska

Jimmy, check these out!

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Unisex-Black-Leather-Biker-Cowboy-Chaps-Trousers-New-/400247233264?pt=Adult_Fancy_Dress_UK&hash=item5d30981af0

SORTED, the least chavvy clothing you will find, mind youm said chavs will find you, and probably kick 7 shades out of you, but hell, you will be warm.

What I dont get is how my legs are fine in this weather (in the North!) fully exposed to the wind on a bike, yet you struggle all cooped up behind your scotter fairing (ignore if you have a Gilera DNGay!)

On a serious, problem solving note - Get some Hi-Gear typhoon over trousers from Go Outdoors - they dont look chavvy and will keep the wind/rain/cold out - and pack small!

Love the fact you joined today, and are already abusing people - how to make friends and influence people not your strong point eh??

Then wear some thicker trousers, you whiny bitch. Seriously; take the advice that's offered, or bugger off.
