Could always try an impact wrench - either compressed air or an electric one, or a longer, stronger bar.

Take it down to a tyre place and see if they can budge it with their windy gun.

Cheers joe i was thinking of doing somthing like that, or even using a blowtorch to heat it up a little to free it and then using a stronger bar although the bar we were using was quite strong plus the force of me and him pushing down on it and it just bent the bar im thinking that when it was last tightend the guy may have threaded it or somthing Confused

You could try heating the nut as suggested.
But bigger bar that's up to the job also.
If you can get hold of an impact wrench, might as well give it a go - possible someone used one to do it up which could be the issue.

However, with something like this, an appropriate big breaker bar should always manage it.

We tried and better bar and a scaffold pole and bent that too, lmfao but my friend a corby kawasaki is gonna have a bash at it tommrow.
Its like a sword in stone situation ive had a few of my pals round trying to free it with no luck! so were hoping that my friend is gonna solve the issue its litrally just so i can move the wheel foward and fit the new chain and sprocket kit.

Thanks for the quick replys guys. Thumbs Up

Go get a scaffold pole. I find it very hard to believe you bent an actual scaffold pole, personally!

If it was the 10 inch professional bar then take it back under the lifetime guarantee and swap it for the 24 inch and give that a go.
