I'm trying to source a sport or race end can for a friend with no internet access, theres not many about for his bike tho Thumbs Down

Is there any other years of CBR that would be a direct fit to his??

His is a 1993 CBR600 F-P.

An older one worth about a grand or so, so he doesn't want to spent nearly £200 on a can, I said I'd find him one on eBay but there's very little for that year.

TIA.

pretty sure you can just measure and get a link pipe from your downpipes and then find an exhaust that fits off that, can strap to hold it and your sorted.

Would an FX end can and link pipe fit an FP ?

I believe they are both 50mm, it's the angle of the bends on the link pipe I'm concerned about..

To definitely fit an FP you're looking for anything 1991 - 1994 (FM/FN/FP/FR) as they're all the same bike.

With any others, you might get lucky but they're not the same bike so you may come across problems. If I was trying it, I'd look for FS/FT/FV/FW as that's the next model and is pretty similar in terms of dimensions etc. I think you'd be lucky with FX onwards as a lot of stuff changed.

https://www.carboncan.co.uk/

give them a ring.

Mate got one off them for an 02 CBR600F, was £100, sounds much nicer than the stock one

I have the same bike 1993 FP and bought a scorpion race can from fleabay for 30 quid.

the most important part is the link pipe as stated above.

I asked about everwhere but didn't get any concrete answers.

www.cbrforum.com is pretty useful and has some good how to guides on it.

I've done a bit of work: clutch change, steering head bearings and final drive cleanup and all in all not to bad to work on.

If you want any info on the link pipe i can take some measurements and pics.
Cheers
