Posted: 09:24 - 09 Dec 2011 Post subject: Help with change of tyre size ? |
 |
|
hi guys,
My tyres are coming to the end of there live now, pretty much got no tread on them The tyres on my bike are really thin compared to some of my old bikes you cant really lean much round corners, The front tyre is 90/90/16 and the back is 120/90/16. I remember reading somewhere you could change the first two numbers of the tyres ones for width the other for tread ? ? If any one could clear up the confusion and recommend a new size and a make of tyre, that would be great!!
also how much am I looking at roughly, for two new tyres plus fitting ??
thanks ! |

Never had a problem with 80/100/17 and 100 80 17 tyres, they are skinny
Best bet is to find your actual correct tyres on ebay, being that small...fitting yourself shouldn't be too hard. |
