got ordinary qualifiers on mine as they're well discontinued now and can be bought pretty cheap, they do work well on mine, very happy. As and when I can't get any more it'll be roadsmarts

On my SV these were deadly, wouldn't touch them again with a sh!tty stick.

Budget choice - Michelin Pilot Road, the origional version is a good tyre and about £150 a pair from M&P

What I would have - Roadsmarts, the Roadsmart 2 is out now so should be able to get a good deal on the older version.

Got - The Daytona came with Qualifier 2's, can't fault them so far.

From what I can gather reading loads of opinions about tyres is that tyre choice is a personal thing, it's down to individual choice because all our bikes/riding styles and conditions differ.
However, when I got my fazer it came with maxxis supermaxx tyres, which were ok, when the rear needed replacing i fancied trying something different and I opted for a pair of continentals and was advised to get contiforce for my fazer.
Unfortunately the contiforce rear didn't last 5 minutes, well i say 5 minutes...it only lasted half the miles the maxxis tyres lasted, so I switched back to maxxis.

I'm on my second metzeler sportec m3 rear on my ninja and i really like the grip, just hope i get decent mileage form it.

you say your conti road attack "don't seem very good" in what way? tyre pressures make all the difference too.

Get a set of BT023's.

Cannot beat the IMO.

Wet or dry the grip is awsome.

Avoid road attacks!

Have an affinity for Pirelli Angel ST's have a set on the VTR1000 and the grip has been good and they are confidence inspiring wet or dry, but my father has been raving about the 023's on his bnadit 1200 and his 929 blade so I might give it a go when this rears done.
