Insurance abroad in EU

I have being trying to get a quote that enables me to leave my bike in a secure storage facility abroad, but with one expensive exception no-one wants to provide cover. The exception allows me to change the policy status to "laid up", and I'm simply not insured during this period and so get a refund of premiums.

I want this facility because I have a caravan in Spain which I use in autumn and spring. So I take the bike out there at the start of autumn, stay for a couple of months then put the bike and caravan in store for the winter and fly home. I reverse the exercise at the beginning of spring and then ride the bike home.

Anyone know of a company other than Norwich Union that caters for this requirement?
