Got rid of my ZX6R last year and have been without a bike during the winter, which is fine.Needed the cash for deposit on a house, which i'm still looking for.

i've got bit of cash handy, but still don't know what to do.Ideally I fancy getting about a 4 year old year old GSXR 750 but wanted to buy one privately to save bit of cash(which I haven't done before)Any tips on this would be great. I reckon I would need to wait to later in the year (July) to have the funds to pay off.(round about £3500).

My other option was to just to pay a couple of grand and get a bit older bike say 7 year old ZXR750 or similar and so it gets me on the road for the summer?Any probs with bike older bikes, looking out incase they have been thrashed and id end up spending loads or repairs?Cheers

as long as it comes with a full service history....a bike of that age should be fine.

Althou personally i would go for somthing newer no older than 5 years old etc
