Ok I quite fancy putting an NC30 swingarm on my GSXR 400. Not set on it yet but I have had a swingarm and shock offered for a good price so I need to price up the wheel + tyre. Doesn't matter what colour because it will end up gold. Really haven't got a great deal to spend as it is not "needed", but wanted. Anyone?

Don't be a Silly billy!

Do you realise that the NC30 rear whell is an 18in one? therefore tyre choice is EXTREMELY limited. If you REALLY want to fit a (heavier) single sided swingarm you want one with a (rare and expensive) RVF400 one.

In short, don't bother. Its too expensive, difficult to make work and will be just an utter headache. No way. Thumbs Down

My advice is, don't do tarty stuff to your bike - do stuff which will actually improve performance or buy a new bike!

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

It was just an idea beacuse it was that look, which made me want the NC30 in the first place. Also I like to be a bit different. And if I don't use it, I'll flog it on. I am getting the parts for (what I believe) is a good price. Also I fancied building a NC30 from scratch, so it won't go to waste.

tyre choice is no longer an issue for 18 inch rims as they make all the appropriate tyre is this size.

18" rim is indeed not a problem for tyre choice, and the cost of RVF rims is just plain silly, if I do get the rim off my bike before you find one Diehard it'll be tyreless as the GPR70 on the other rim is worthless.

Well as usual something has come up and I'm gonna have to abondon that idea! The NSR has started to rattle like f***, and sounds awfull so gonna keep some cash back just in case. Sorry Phoenix for a false alarm on that wheel. Karma Cheers for the advice to people,
