I think its actually down to farmers, to save money on torches or something... hmmm glow in the dark sheep dye (runs off to work on evil plan)

Yeah it obviously was, just that I thought it normally happened at 2am and not 1. I recall great debate about closing time one night we were out and the clocks changed...

Perhaps clocks go forward to 2 o'clock at 1 o'clock, and when they go back again they go back at 2 o'clock to 1 o'clock.
