Basically a simple question
Who thinks it will snow

I live in Ye ole North West and i haven't seen a single flake of the stuff.
I was in Essex last week
And i'm in Norfolk right now

Nothing!

I personally don't want it to snow. with most likely around 99% of the forum

It's just last year we had alot of snow and it came early December
I'm starting to think we could get through winter without it!

Which would be Legendary
Thoughts? Rain Sun

Don't tempt fate...

However, It usually snows a little in late January or early February, its just that the last two years were exceptional. I don't think its climate change, I think its probably to do with La Nina. The La Nina cycle is almost over so I reckon we'll have milder winters for a couple of years.

I'm not a meteorologist though, so you can take that with as many grains of salt as you like.

Of course it will snow, just as it will rain and be hot and cold and there will be earthquakes. I am just not sure where and when.

Nottingham's been fairly mild too. Think it was around 15oC on Christmas day, took the dog for a long walk after dinner in a t-shirt and jeans.

It isn't going to snow. This is definite.

The reason I know this? Finally bought some snow tyres for the car just before December in preparation for the white stuff...

We had a small amount last week, it all cleared up though. Just glad there's no ice.

I've been dreading the snow this year... Sad won't be using the bike when the white stuff starts to fall, that's for sure.

Who needs snow for a good christmas? 14 degrees and sunny on the island christmas day. Went out on the bike with a mate on christmas morning, two laps of the TT course and back just in time for christmas dinner. The mrs went round her sister's house in the afternoon, leaving me on the couch with a full belly, couple of spliffs and a Peter Green cd blasting out. It just doesn't get much better than that!

I hope there's no snow for a few days, I've got to ride back from north Wales to Swindon on Monday. Wasn't much fun on the way up in the pouring rain and gale force winds!!

You sound like the BBC news. "Well there's no snow in London, so it hasn't snowed."

Hmm try living in Halifax, We had snow for about 2 weeks in early December. Maybe not in the town centre, but the surrounding hills were covered in it.

I've already dropped my ER6 in the stuff.

I'm sure Scotland has had a load more than here.
