i have a 64 bit system and ATI graphics cards and there is a video converter with the software.

there was a suggestion in the first post!
if you have ati cards more than likely you have a converter in the software but if you cant tell us what you have in your mobo then i suppose we have to guess till we find a solution Laughing

you dont say if your looking for free software? but try this there is a trial before you buy.

The password is: yourmum

- Install it
- Launch it
- Add file > "choose the file you want to convert"
- Change the destination folder to Desktop > "easy to find later"

- Settings
- uptop next to Profile select iphone 3gMPEG-4 (.mp4)
- drop the bit rate down a bit
- OK

- START
- Wait about 20min to convert2 hour movie
- Job done

Handbrake definitely does 64bit on Mac but not sure about the Windows version. Also pretty limited output so probably no use to you, but worth a suggestion as you haven't had many other offers.

This is what I usually use. Also check out VirtualDub and AVISynth for video editing, both freeware and very powerful once you get the hang of them!
