ok if all goes well im buying a cagiva mito evo 2 next weekend for £1050 smart looking little bike, problem is im struggling to find a way of getting it, my mate has a van but is umming n arring as we live in northamptonshire and the bikes in edinburgh, so ur looking at the best part of 340 miles.

now i want this bike asap so ive even been toying with the idea of p.ting up there and riding it back, but im dubious at best as its a new bike (to me) and 2 stroke, not specifically designed to do long haul.

what do u reckon, tell my mate to get his head out of his ass, or go for a epic mission, i do like the idea as its a perfect time to get used to the bike but i keep seeing images of standing at the side of the road 200 miles from home.

Just do it!.
Not quite 340 miles but I just collected a bike from Preston and that was a 250 mile trip Confused .
If you`re getting it insured can you not get road-side recovery included on your policy?

lol, i will most definatly be getting insured on it, mce include breakdown but they will only take me to a garage within 40 miles of where i break down, if its not fixable by the road.

its just that whole 2 stroke issue plus not being permitted to ride on motor way gotta zig zag my way back down (which is really appealing to me) i just dont want to end up burning it in a rage.
