I've just sold my 600 bandit after being offered a good price for it.My intention was to wait out the winter and start looking for something newer and shinier in Feb or March.My short list is Triumph street trip,ducati 696 or aprila shiver.My local Triumph dealer has a 696 for sale and I have gone gaga over it.Any one got one of these as I am in the darks as to what to look for or the potential servicing costs.

One thing to bear in mind is that because it's a v-twin, you may be initially a bit disappointed with the power delivery. I've never owned a monster, but I'm told that they're fairly easy to work on.
Looking back on your list of options, you've gone fora triple and two twins - have you test-ridden any of them? They'll all be very different to the Bandit.

I am planning to go into the dealers next week to see if I can book a back to back test.You would hope this time of year they woild be happy to oblige.Triumph in Wolves has bog standard triple as a demo as well as the duke.
