You can get 'cheap' leathers at bike shows but what I have seen are the Saturday Market kind of quality.
Thin leather, poor stitching (single, light duty stitching) and shite fitting.
The garments are made cheap to sell cheap.

I would not buy a Non Branded bargain at a bike show.

Look for CE approved gear. It won't keep you from harm but it 'should' meet a basic standard. The cheap stuff is like fancy-dress.

Leathers are NOT cheap if you want decent quality.

But of course you do find bargains at shows. Sellers don't like to take stock back and like to move the gear so end of day bargains are sometimes to be had.

I picked-up a new leather 2 piece for £150. Thick leather and well stitched although they used quite a few panels. GP leathers. They served their purpose, but to be honest the cut was poor. To fit them i needed biceps like a champion arm wrestler and an arse the size of a ladies victorian bustle.
So i think cheap, well put together kit does exist but the wages of 'stylists' costs.

I should of known better, but this was pre BCF days.

Got my leathers off Egay for £15. Good quality retro but decidedly gay!

Easy.

Bottom Right Hand COrner there is a wee Yellow 'Thumbs Up' symbol.

Thumbs Up Click on this in all my posts until you get the message, 'You cannot rate any more posts today'.

That will do me fine.

Smile

Depends on the brand and quality but they can be had relatively cheap.

At the last BMF show I picked up a mint (new without tags) Frank Thomas one piece for £80. The fit was perfect and they had a whole rack of various suits at a similar price. Frank Thomas had just gone into administration so might not be as many being shifted cheap but you can get some decent bargains. I remember some serious BKS suits too for £300 in purple and yellow. Just depends what people have got to shift I think, luck of the draw

+1 for the BMF,

Triumph Kevlar Jeans £10
Red Route Kevlar Jeans £20
Triumph Jacket RRP £350 - £55
The list really could go on.
