I need to sell a model car I sold to Brazil and so far the websites I've tried are saying £50 Shocked

Anyone recommend somewhere to try? If not I will go to the post office and ask them

Have you tried the one on the Royal Mail website? That should be fairly accurate.

How much did you quote postage as on the item? At that sort of postage it's hardly worth sending.

It's depends on the weight of the item. If it's a model (ie, not an RC) then it will probably be very light and cost under £10 to send by standard airmail.

It gets expensive if you need a parcel insured but small, light items can be sent cheaply if you are willing to take the risk it might get nicked or the buyer might claim that it never arrived.

Take it to the post office and get it weighed and say you want to send it to Brazil.

I didn't expect to be so much so I only charged them £10. The Royal Mail site doesn't work, the model in it's box weighs 1.06kg so that's without any extra packing.

The item itself is worth less than £20, I might just have to say sorry I made a mistake

Brasil.....

I lost a camera, an HP hand computer, a world band radio and a set of screw drivers from my bag en-route from Rio to Gay Paris.
Brasileros are thieving cnuts/filho da puta.

Insurance would be prudent.

I think £13.14 should cover it if you send it Small Packet

Find yourself someone who works long haul Cabin Crew and get them to post it whilst they are over there... my landlady goes from time to time, and that's where our coffee comes from. Cool
