Yes it's not too difficult to swap headlights, but personally I rather like the square ones.

Easy enough to swap, its just a box and a mount so more than possible.

CG125s seem to be the most sensible option for a 125, certainly if you're looking to progress to bigger bikes. They apparently have a life longer than that of chuck norris and never ever ever ever break down, even if set fire to and trampled on by full size transformers.

Seriously though, nice choice for a 125, it'll stand you well and chances are you'll walk away on even money when you come to sell it.

Walloper - very true!

I wish i'd kept my 125, I loved that bike, it was ace. I've seen it several times since, infact in Sussex the Norseman run a poker run, my old 125 had done about 4 of them with three different riders. If it came up i reckon I'd buy it.

So kevotore, listen to Walloper and keep it if you can!

You can get better bulbs for the square headlights, the round ones take a 35/35w piece of crap that makes night rideing a slow affair on country lanes... It visibly dims when you use the brakes ffs Laughing

Thumbs Up

I thought to mention that as I have been through that exercise of trying to get a better light for a 125 with the round lamp and got nothing as they use a most useless bulb size.

I would check the bulbs specifications and available upgrades before throwing away the better lamp housing.

I have a Halogen bulb for the square headlight (BA20D fitting) that I bought thinking that it would fit, obviously it won't so it's free to a good home if anyones interested, or maybe if you cover postage.
