Just seen this on wemoto

Can anyone tell me whats the difference between that and a normal one?

i bought one of those for my GPZ500.

It's an absorbed glass matt battery which means its sealed and never needs filling up with distilled water. It comes with little screw on fixtures which allow you to attach the battery cables to the battery terminals in any direction. Not really useful for the bike, but could be helpful if you were using the battery upside down on some custom build.

They are supposed to be very good. They are maintenance free and supposedly offer 20% more cranking power.

Funnily enough i'm just about to order one myself from https://www.stuff4bikes.co.uk, the one i need is cheaper from here than Wemoto.

The missus just fitted one of those to her RSV. Best bit is the screw terminals - no more semi-captive nuts to lose!

AGM batteries are not unique in having a 'sealed for life' design.

Maintenance Free batteries have been available for years.

AGM is unique in the use of Absorbent Glass Matting in the lead matrix

They are more expensive then non AGM but they perform much better so are more cost effective in the long run.
