I put it up for sale after having passed my bike test, sold it for a very good price (exactly what I bought it for 2000 miles and 18 months ago), and sold it to someone who seemed like he would look after it.

But I still feel horribly horribly sad Sad It was my first bike, the first bike that I've ever ridden, got me through my test and now it's gone Sad Anyone feel this way when you sold your bike/s?

Gonna go look at a bike tomorrow, so should pick me up atleast.

As a side note, also sold my helmet & disc lock to the guy, any suggestions for both? Helmet - Max budget of £75, no bright colours please. Where should I be shopping for it?

Moppy, I had that as my first bike as well (well almost identical, It looks the same) and I loved it. I'd buy mine back now if I could, lots of good times on it. For a 125 I thought it was a great little bike.

The new bike should make you feel better though, although I always find it 'odd' going from one bike to another, almost like I've cheated on the last one but I'm having lots of fun on the new one, odd I know but seems to be the way for me.

I've got limited experience with helmets but i've normally had Nolan and they've been very quiet, light and had good visibility.

Box are quite cheap and apparantly reasonable, as are duchinni, my friend had one for a while and gave no complaints.
from my experience, I've always had AGV's, and i get on with them very well, little more than £75 but they do some very good deals if you shop around, the K3 is a good helmet (not the gothic rossi replica's because they're more expensive)
