80deg
We had 2 bikes with cameras, mine facing forward & one on the '74 Z1 facing backwards. So we set off with him at the front & me at the back with 2 R1's, a CBR1000 & a blue ZRX1200 between us. That didn't last too long as the R1's & CBR were riding so bloody slow I hardly got out of 2nd gear going up The Snake.
Then when we got down to the coast we had 2 cars who didn't know where the fuck they were going so I went around them & buggered off along PCH to Neptunes Net & waited for the others.
One of the R1s bumped the back of the Z1 at a stop sign.
Damage to Z1: Bent licence plate, straightened with use of MkI thumb. Cost: $0.00
Damage to R1: Smashed fairing section, estimated to be at least $300...
Nice effect being able to ride in sunshine on PCH while the fog bank stays about 40ft to my left along the beach.
The guy on the R1 in front of me (briefly) who looks like he's trying to drag his foot actually has a gammy leg, so thats how he rides all the time. ____________________ They're not one night stands, they're auditions. |
