I assume these are as good as jeans on the face of it, and useful for city riding, but has anyone used them?

I bought a pair of those ages back, for about £30. They're OK. A little prone to fraying, but nothing that a you can't sort with a lighter and a steady hand.
They're absolutely sod all use for keeping your hands warm, though, so this may not be the best time of year to be wearing them.
