I'm not sure that'll be rivalling Christini (or even a Rokon) on powering the front wheel Smile.

I've got a FWD bike (technically AWD hybrid Smile ) in my electric push bike Smile.
And yes, have had the front wash out from too much power on some slippery stone paving slabs Smile.

Classic pushbike place near me had a pushbike that had a engine on the front, Looked like somebody really had just got a push bike and then strapped a engine to the handlebars and a chain to a sprocket on the front wheel.

The above looks like fun though.

Oh no, it doesn't use fuel - you wrap a string around the pulley on the right and keep pulling yourself along Smile

cool stuff, wheres the fuel tank though?

I think you simply take a big mouthful of petrol and feed the engine through a straw.

But it's a belt drive so probably, by some insane ingenuity, the frame is also the fuel tank.
Hardley Dae-Anything and Buell have/had a massive Hard-on for that sort of impractical just-to-be-different shite.

Just watch American Chopper and see the things that retarded son of Hulk-Hogan comes up with.

i think the black thing on the front is the fuel tank.

the engine looks like the type to turn bicycles into little motorbikes, and that black thing is mounted in a similar position relative to the engine than those ones, although they are usual above on the crossbar

the frame as a tank would be a bit too high tech for this build i reckon

I'll see your "FWD and engine is also the top yoke" and raise you a "FWD and crank is also the front axle."
https://3.bp.blogspot.com/_s8m4mx9BgMo/TUK2e96zE_I/AAAAAAAAAwk/ATEmND_Piuc/s1600/megola2.jpg

I have a mate who is into velosolexes in a big and slightly disturbing way. He was talking about fitting TWO solex engines to a bike, one on each wheel, adding knobbly mountain bike tyres and entering it into a hillclimb in the 50cc class (the nearly flat tyres, bouncing up and down to get traction and see who can get furthest up the course sort of hill climb). He'd pissed everyone off the previous year by entering a totally standard MOT failure fiat Panda 4x4 in the same event and getting disgustingly far up.

Not spoken to him for a bit, I'll have to ask how he got on.

Why would you want to move the drive to the wrong wheel? just like front wheel drive cars, it will be crap and they wont handle. Somethings are best left where they are and drive to the rear wheel(s) is one of them. Thumbs Up

you wouldnt need a big square exhaust, that horizontal cylinder is solid and looks like a protection bar to me to protect the tank

i'll see if i can find a pic of a simila fuel tank

Pete. that's awesome! Cool

That box on the front is almost certainly the exhaust.
No idea where the fuel tank is though!

But from my experience with Gopeds in the past, I'm pretty sure that black box is the exhaust.

The carb and air filter are on the opposite side, and the "big square box" is attached to the exhaust manifold. People don't tend to attach petrol tanks to the exhaust manifold.

Big square exhaust boxes are very common for both intake and exhaust on such 'working' lawn mower style engines. No need to make it aerodynamic, nor are they trying to get best power from a specific engine capacity.
