And it was the best fun I've had on two wheels.
Pouring with rain; terrible weather, no one else about -brilliant fun.

My first real outing on my first trail bike the dr200.
I can't even see the need for anything over 200 cc for the tight woodland and muddy stuff.

Bikes like a mountain bike, chuck it anywhere and it goes everywhere.

Hooked!!

I have green laning since 1985 and still have fun every time that I go out.But I soon found that my Honda XL185SA was underpowered for what I wanted to do,which was much further afield.I laned all over Kent,Surrey,Hampshire and Berkshire, usually with the various TRF groups from those counties.

Have fun out there. But it is not a good idea to go laning by yourself.

Nice website Svenja.

My brother-in-law said that there are no places in Germany where you can ride bikes off tarmac like we can in the UK.Is this not the case?

Thank you, Fizzer. Yes, your brother is right. You hardly find any place in Germany where you can legally go off road.
But I live next to Sweden which is my favorite country to ride on gravel roads.
Miles and miles through endless forests on gravel. Sweden really is worth travelling.
