The short story is I need to change the plastic pipe ( delivery tube) from the reservoir to the dispenser assembly which fits to the swing arm as its damaged.
Do you know if the plastic pipe can be taken out of the dispenser assembly and put back in or do I need to buy the whole unit with piping..

Cheers Paul

It just pushes on to the dispenser.

Scottoiler are great for spares, and as above it just pulls off the reservoir.

Sorry, misread your question. Yes, you can seperate the dispenser from the clear plastic pipe at the swing arm end too. It all comes apart as you have to chop and fit it according to which bike you've got and how you route it.

Hi YP..
The bit of pipe that has caused the problem was inserted to a bit of conduit and attached to the side of the swingarm but the conduit came unstuck even though I had super glued it and the pipe flapped against the exhaust and melted..
All fun innit... Very Happy

Cheers

If you mean the thin black plastic tube, you just cut a new piece, melt one end to make it a bit blobby (to make a tight seal) and slice the other end at an angle with a stanley knife or scissors. The clear tubing comes in a long roll and you cut it after running it through the bike.

If it's just the end of the clear pipe thats gone, you can join a new piece on using the black piping as a joiner.

If it's not leaking and the oil is flowing I'd leave it.

If it is leaking, cut it either side of the burn and rejoin it with an inch long piece of the black pipe, flared at both ends and making sure the holes are still clear at each flared end. There should be enough slack in the clear pipe to cut a small piece out.

The pipe is weeping a very small amount so I will try cutting that bit out and put in a bit of the black nozzle. Thumbs Up
