Hi,

Took bike out for a spin tonight then all of a sudden both the speedo and the rev counter stopped working.

It's a Derbi Terra with a digital speedo. There's no cable to the front wheel so i'm guessing there is a sensor somewhere.

Anyone know anything about these and where the sensor is or where a sensor cable runs to / from ?

I've searched but can't find any wiring diagrams or other info Confused

Thanks !
Mark

Check all fuses.

If the speedometer and tach have both gone it may just be a fuse that has blown.

Thumbs Up

I can only see 2 fuses and they are both good.

Everything else works, backlight, indicator lights etc.

I've found a speed sensor at the back wheel. It's not mechanical, looks like a metal stud just.

Anyone any ideas why both would fail ?
