is it just a straight swap for indicators? take the wires out and straight into the new ones or will it affect the blink time?

thanks

Unplug old ones, plug new ones in.

The only issue you might run into is if you're swapping traditional bulbs for LEDs which might result in a faster flash rate.

This man speaks the truth. You usually get a resistor supplied with LEDs to slow the flash rate down.
