Well,
£11,149 for the Tiger Explorer, pricey but not anything I wasn't expecting.
But £11,299 for the Speed Triple R Jeez, thats a hell of a price hike from what the standard Speed Triple cost in 2011. ____________________ Triumph Trophy Launch Edition |

Ouch, local dealer has a fair few VERY low mile (~300) 11/61 plates up for sale at lower than retail prices.
Price hikes = |

Ohlins, Brembo and forged wheels will do that to a price tag! ____________________ Well, you know what they say. If you want to save the world, you have to push a few old ladies down the stairs.

For those prices you can have two 2011 Ducatis either two Hypermotards or two Monsters.
You would have to be fucking insane to pay that for a Triumph, that is bordering on MV territory ____________________ Stinkwheel: You have no right to free speech

Could you have a 1199 Hypermotard for that money? I doubt it. ____________________ British beauty: Triumph Street Triple R; Loony stroker: KR1S; Track fun: GSXR750 L1; Commuter Missile: GSX-S1000F

But you definitely couldn't have 2 hypermotards or monsters for the prices of the Speed Triple R
Hypermotard 796= £7,395
Monster 696= £6,495
Even if you could it is redunant anyway ____________________ Well, you know what they say. If you want to save the world, you have to push a few old ladies down the stairs.

An there isn't an 1199 Hymo, it is 1100, it uses the monster engine. ____________________ Well, you know what they say. If you want to save the world, you have to push a few old ladies down the stairs.

2012 Ducati Monster 1100S (evo) £9,995
2012 Ducati Hypermotard 1100 £9,995 OTR
2012 Ducati Hypermotard 1100 EVO SP £11,295
2012 Ducati Streetfighter £12,000 and that is a brand new model.
Triumph are getting a bit up themselves with their prices, no way I would pay that much for a Triumph, you really would have to be insane, would much rather a Monster all day, and I can then spend like £2k on other things. ____________________ Stinkwheel: You have no right to free speech

Thats horses for courses though isn't it. I wouldn't have a Ducati. The only one I ever had spent more time looking pretty than going anywhere
I'm certainly up for the Tiger Adventure though. Now how can I get that past the wife ____________________ Triumph Trophy Launch Edition |

The standard Street Triple is £8k and has more power and torque than the Monster. There isn't a Monster S only and EVO model AFAIK
I'd buy that and then I can spend like £2k on other things. ____________________ Well, you know what they say. If you want to save the world, you have to push a few old ladies down the stairs.
