Found out from these 2 videos.
Basically, Drift use rebranded Fuji batteries, so if you want another standard battery go on ebay and search for 'Fuji NP-60' and if you want an extended one, search for 'Fuji NP-120' It's also interesting to note the NP-60 is 1200mAh vs 1110mAh for standard Drift one so will last a few minutes more I suppose. I think the NP-120 is the same though.
Fuji NP-60 - £2.73 vs. £14.49 for a genuine (i.e. has 'Drift' written on it) replacement - or there's ones for just under £7 on ebay that are advertised as generic replacements but aren't branded.
Fuji NP-120 - £5.49 vs. £20.59 for a genuine one. There's one on ebay (non-OEM) for £14.
Just thought I would share what I found out today I was about to buy the extended battery but you have to remember it adds weight to the camera, so personally I think it's better to stock up on the little ones unless your mount is really solid. ____________________ KTM 990 SMT & Suzuki DR-Z 400 SM |
