Gloves which fit?

Got three pairs of gloves at the moment one which is the Dynamic army surplus winter style (dads) which are XL. My normal gloves which are made by weise these are L. Also another pair purchased as a bargain buy unknown brand at M.

These gloves are from different companies, different sizes; however all fit me extremely snug. How do you choose the right glove when purchasing online

OR Is it more like the measure my hand then try and research the details of the models, see if they fit that way

(after another leather summer pair if that helps in anyway)

Peeps have small medium and big hands, that's how i always buy gloves.

Leather, go to bike shop try on gloves you like, buy the smaller ones as they stretch.

As with anything bike related, the size label bears no relation to the size of the actual item. I have XL gloves, XXL gloves and L gloves. It's a random stab in the dark most of the time, need to try them on. Bike clothing (jackets/trousers) is even worse, especially leathers.
