Bad news first: Costing 109 € (90 GBP) this seeat is really expensive. The good news is:
it works wonders regarding seating comfort.

When I came back to Germany from my journey through England and Scotland I truely had to admit
that it is worth every penny.

The airhawk works with a small air cushion that can be easily adjusted to your personal settings.
The best setting might be to let the pressure down until there is only a very thin cushion of air
between your back and the motorcycle seat left.

I took a few days to get used to that somehow wobbly feeling caused by the air cushion. I even checked
tire pressure, but everything was ok. It's just that special Airhawk feeling.

As far as I have understood, the patent behind Airhawk has originally been developed to comfort
wheelchair users.

I recommend the Airhawk and would buy a new one if mine got stolen, which is easily possible, as it is
only loosely attached to the bike. A new one is available at Polo and Louis :-)

It sounds great, but why did they have to name it the "AirHawk 2"? They make it sound like a helicopter from a 1980's TV show. Still I guess it wouldn't sell as well if they called it the poofy-pad.

Bum basher might get the wrong type of customer.

Sweet cheeks might get even worse

Bottom cushion or air cushion might have been better.

Frilly dress maker would be wrong too.

Save yourself 99 euro and buy a "Putnams stadium seat" for 10 euro, and make up a cover for it
The Stadium seat is a very similar air cushion to the airhawk, and was also developed for wheel chair users, its also ideal for sitting on cold seats/steps, and also for M/C saddles. I stuck 1 inside a faux sheepskin cover that housed a gel pad for a horse saddle
