Speed Triple R, then sell it as it's more desirable/more valuable than the Honda, and I think the headlights on the triumph look shite. Thumbs Up

Trumpet, but if I had the cash, I wouldn't.

Can go racing on that sort of money.

I was looking at getting one of these type of bikes in a year or so, but someone mentioned that the Street Triple R would be better fun than either of these two.

The Triumph, I've come to love 3 cylinder motors. I wasn't sure I would after years of IL4's (and a few flat 4's / 6's) and especially as I dislike twins, but after a 955i Tiger & the Striple I'm sold on them.

However I'd have a Tiger Adventure Wub

Same thing as the swing arms? Adding weight for aesthetics.

As above, I'd go and convert a bit older litre sports bike with wide bars and be left with over half the cash to play with.

I'm actually trying to make the same choice at the moment, but I think my heart lies with the triple engine!

I can't trust a single swingarm. Can't get rid of the thought that it will eventually kill me Sad

Both. Just wait 10 years. Laughing

I'm going with the Triumph...only because I did really like the triple engine.

But I love that colour CB1000R..also love the white ones.

The Triumph. If for no other reason that in a couple of years time it'll have held most of its value when new, whereas the Honda won't have done so well. But really I'd have the Triumph because I love the engine, it's awesome.

I tested the street triple R and loved it. However as I commute to London and back each day (80 miles, 60 of which are Motorways), I'd need a flyscreen or something, as when I got to about 75-80mph, it was uncomfortable ride (due to wind on chest and lid).

But bike itself is awesome, and close gearbox, was a delight.

Hi. The small bikini fairing thing they did on the older models worked really well for wind deflection - took just enough away.

I'd go for an 885 coffin-tank speed triple and pocket the change... As much fun and sounds/looks better than both of those horrible objects...
