Hi all thank for having me on your sight!

Now can anyone out their help me with my gsx1100f 1986,

she was running ok till last week! then I thort the Battery was dead!! But! after a quick test batt seemed ok!

So i decided to charge it anyway! all charged, back on bike! put ign on, prest starter, click went the bike! then nothing! and all power went from batt again!

BUT! within a cupule of seconds power came back, triyed again! and same thing happend!

Could this be the selanoid?? can anyone help! many thanks.

Sounds more like your battery is knackered, not enough power under load to run the starter then recovers a bit after you've stopped. Try it with another good one or jump leads etc to see if starts, pound to a pinch it will.

Check the other end of the heavy black lead that runs from the battery, where it's bolted to the frame/engine/starter.

id also try a new battery but failing that it could be the regulator, any decent garage can check it out for you
