As some of you may remember a few month ago I was trying to aquire something in the form of a tail tidy / undertray for my Honda CBF600. I eventually obtained one from the bay of E for a reasonable sum, and have since had it sprayed to the correct colour of my bike. Over the last few days, between work and other activities - It has been fitted! So, I thought that I would share some pics with you guys and girls.....

1) Rather LARGE, standard, number plate hanger:

2) Started stripping her down - with blade023 's assistance!

3) All stripped! I Couldn't believe that you have to completely strip the whole rear end just to change this one piece of plastic!

4) Trimmed down the origional Undertray to accomodate the new one, but still keep the battery compartment on my bike.

5) All refitted.....after various on-off and on-off, on-off some more and more trimming then on-off and back on again! Looks good now, much better than the standard one. What do you guys reckon?

I wondered how long it would take for the number plate to be mentioned! Getting a new one as old one had screw holes in the wrong places!

Really nice and tidy now.

I want to get my hornet sorted as well, the original plate holder is way oversized Sad

I'm always checking on ebay for an original one to cut it (i want to keep mine uncut) but so far no luck Sad

One will turn up....Just have a little patience! Are you a member of the Hornets Nest? Keep an eye on there in the For Sale / Wanted section as well as fleabay.

Let us know how you get on Thumbs Up
